Joanne is an award-winning public relations practitioner and specialist in the development of communication strategies for non-profit associations. A former newspaper journalist, she has also served as director of public relations at a major Canadian university. She holds a BA in political science and is a member of the Canadian Society of Association Executives. Joanne has received awards for communications excellence from CPRS, the IABC and the Council for the Advancement of Studies in Education.
