Haldimand Museums

As the site of early pioneer settlement in southern Ontario, Haldimand County has a rich heritage and is home to no less than nine museums, three of which are County-owned. The County museums, however, lacked a unified brand and needed a comprehensive marketing strategy.

Market research and interviews carried out by Pier 8 Group with museum staff and key stakeholders indicated opportunities for growth in visitorship and volunteer support through targeted communications to diverse audiences interested in the County’s history. Pier 8 Group also helped the museums to develop a new brand and marketing plan, including a series of colorful brochures to enhance their marketing efforts.
