The Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie works in partnership with employers, job seekers and other community agencies to identify workforce trends and employment opportunities in the communities of Brantford, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk. At the request of the Ontario government, the organization has recently taken on greater responsibilities for labour market research and integrated labour market planning for the region.
Previously known as the Grand Erie Training and Adjustment Board (GETAB) – a name that referenced its role in promoting training and skills development – the organization required a new name and brand to reflect its changing mandate. Pier 8 Group assisted the Board in developing a new vision and mission statement, designed a new logo and created communication resources to launch the new brand.
