Horizon Holdings Inc. is an investment holding company whose principal operating units include Horizon Utilities (the local electricity distributor in Hamilton and St. Catharines) and Horizon Energy Solutions
(a renewable energy firm). The company is one of the largest distributors of electricity in the province of Ontario.
Each year, Horizon publishes a Sustainability-Based Annual Report that measures the company’s performance on environmental, social and economic issues. Pier 8 Group wrote, designed and printed the 2010 report and created a special interactive version, attractively packaged and distributed on a bamboo USB drive.
