Niagara Workforce Planning Board Case Study

Niagara Workforce Planning Board

Rebranding a Workforce Planning Agency

The Niagara Workforce Planning Board is a community based, non-profit organization that champions workforce and labour market development. Funded by the Ontario government, the Board brings together business, labour and community representatives to conduct research, identify labour market trends and develop solutions to ensure workforce skills meet the current needs and emerging opportunities of Niagara’s economy.

Established in 1996, the organization had operated for 10 years as the Niagara Training and Adjustment Board (NTAB), a name that did not accurately reflect its true mandate. Pier 8 Group helped the organization to develop a new name that better suits its role as a leader and catalyst for action in regional workforce planning and development. We also designed a new logo, created a branding tagline, and redesigned its displays and reports.
